What dive suit do you recommend?


Depending on the time of the year and your personal sensations...
December to April: 7mm wetsuit /semi dry or dry suit
April to June: semi dry or 5mm to 7mm wetsuit July-November: 5mm wetsuit




What are the water temperatures in Malta / Gozo?


In August / September it is warmest with up to 30 degrees C on the surface In March the water can be down to 13 degrees C.
In May / June you might encounter a bit stronger thermoclines with colder temperatures of under 20 degrees below 20 metres, but really warm water up to over 24 degrees




Are you open in winter?


We are open all year round.
In summer every day fromm 08.00h to 17.00h.
During the winter months we are open from Monday to Friday and on weekends upon request




What languages do your diving instructors speak?


English, German, French, Polish, Danish, Spanish




How many dives you offer per day?


We offer minimum two dives per day - one in the morning and another one in the afternoon.




Do you offer boat diving?


Yes, we have our own RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) available and offer boat dives at a surcharge.
Additionally we offer a full day trip to Comino on a chartered hard boat once a week.
Boat dives are offered from June to October, depending on the wind- and weather conditions




How can I pay?


We accept cash, credit cards (excpet of AMEX), Maestro, or bank transfer




Do you offer pick-up or transfers from our accommodation?


Most accommodation is within walking distance of the Calypso Diving Centre, or guests have a rental car. So we do not offer pick-up from the accommodation, only on special request and upon availability, at a surcharge
