If you’re already a relatively experienced diver and want to learn how to prevent and manage dive emergencies with confidence, this is the course for you! You’ll develop problem-solving skills and become a more aware, capable diver. It’s challenging, rewarding, and often considered the most valuable course. If you aren’t able to organize your EFR/First Aid training in advance, we can arrange this through our dive center (fees apply).

PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU ARE THE ONLY PARTICIPANT ON THE RESCUE DIVER COURSE, A €100.00 SURCHARGE APPLIES.

• Prerequisites: Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent, and EFR & First Aid certification or equivalent.
• Minimum age: 12 years (If you are aged 12–14, you’ll receive a “Junior Rescue Diver” qualification, which automatically upgrades to Rescue Diver upon reaching age 15).
• Time required: Minimum 3 days (not including the online self-study, which is done at your own pace).

Online registration in advance is required, where you’ll complete all legally required documents and provide details about your diving qualification and experience level. Here, you’ll also upload a medical certificate from a doctor if required. See the Medical Screening Statement HERE – if any of the risk conditions apply to you, we’ll need a valid doctor’s approval that you are “fit to dive”, stamped and dated within the past 12 months.

Vouchers are valid for the indicated dates only. If you wish to make any changes to your booked dives, please note that we must be informed at least 30 days in advance; otherwise, we cannot guarantee that we can accommodate your changes.

Course prices include essential equipment rental but do not include the following:

• Torch hire at €6.00/dive

• Computer hire at €6.00/dive
