Calypso Diving Centre is a professional dive centre established in 1985, offering SSI & PADI courses, located at The Seafront Marsalforn, Triq il-Port, Iz-Zebbug, Gozo, Malta.

2. Bookings & Confirmation
All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed upon receipt of full payment. By completing a booking, the client confirms that all information provided is accurate, complete, and up to date.
Bookings are date-specific. Vouchers and packages are valid solely for the dates selected at the time of booking.
3. Pre-Dive Registration & Documentation
Prior to participation in any diving activity, all clients are required to:
— (a) Complete an online medical screening statement
— (b) Submit a valid diving certification card (PADI, SSI or equivalent) — applicable to guided diving activities only; not required for try dives or entry-level courses
— (c) Provide proof of valid dive insurance
— (d) Submit a doctor’s certificate confirming fitness to dive, if any medical risk factors apply — this must be dated within the preceding 12 months
Failure to provide the required documentation may result in the refusal of participation without entitlement to a refund.
4. Health, Fitness & Safety
All participants must be in good physical health at the time of the activity. Calypso Diving Centre reserves the right to refuse participation to any person deemed medically or physically unfit to dive, at the sole discretion of our instructors and dive masters.
Participants are required to follow all safety briefings and instructions provided by Calypso Diving Centre staff at all times.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellation within 14 days of payment:
Full refund, provided the activity has not yet commenced.
Cancellation after 14 days of payment:
No refund will be issued. Unused or partially used services are non-refundable.
All approved refunds are processed within 14 days of the cancellation request.
Cancellations by Calypso Diving Centre:
In the event of cancellation due to adverse weather, unsafe sea conditions, or circumstances beyond our control, clients will be offered a full refund or the option to rebook at no additional charge.
6. Amendments & Changes
Requests to amend a booking must be submitted in writing no less than 30 days prior to the commencement of the booked activity. Calypso Diving Centre will endeavour to accommodate all requests, however availability cannot be guaranteed.
7. Equipment
Course fees include the use of all essential diving equipment. The following items are available for hire at an additional cost:
— Torch: €6.00 per dive
— Dive computer: €6.00 per dive
Clients are responsible for any damage caused to rental equipment through misuse or negligence.
8. Liability
Scuba diving is an activity that carries inherent risks. All clients participate at their own risk. Calypso Diving Centre, its staff and instructors shall not be held liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage sustained during participation in our activities, except where directly caused by proven negligence on our part.
9. Photography & Media
Photographs and video footage taken during activities may be used by Calypso Diving Centre for promotional and marketing purposes. Clients who object to their likeness being used must notify us in writing prior to the activity.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malta. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Malta.
